Starring Tiffany Shepis (Nightmare Man, Dark Reel, ZOMBthology) and George Katt (Valley of Angels, Inconveniente, Crimes Against Charlie).
This hilarious dramatic-comedy revolves around 3 friends indulging in their hedonistic lifestyle. In between drinking, getting stoned, hitting on women and subjecting each other to a variety of inane theories, absurd philosophies and warped senses of humor (aka: Maladjusted Moments), sparks of a deeper meaning to life begin to arise. At least for one of them.
ROBBIE hasn’t been doing anything with his life. He is now 30 years old and the years of floundering have made him increasingly malcontent. He is an aspiring writer and although his barhopping lifestyle has provided him with loads of great material and social situations, he is having trouble getting his first novel going.
Robbie’s best friend, IAN, believes that all Robbie really needs is the proper inspiration to help him kick open his creative doors. So, Ian takes it upon himself to find Robbie the inspiration he needs by double booking a friend’s beach house that is being rented to a threesome of hot girls, which feeds Ian’s sinful vices at the same time.
Once at the beach house, the 3 girls are surprised to find Robbie, Ian, and their friend Carl already settling in. The guys are just as surprised, except for Ian, who does his best to act shocked while playing diplomat and arranging their mutual stay on the premises. |

But fun in the sun isn’t all that Robbie and his friends get.
Next door is another beach house that has been rented out for the week to a small group of college springbreakers, a mix of guys and girls and a 40-yr old douchebag named Yon who has an agreement with the kids: They pay his expenses, he keeps a steady supply of booze coming. Yon’s main goal of the week is to bag as many of the young girls as possible. Yeah, we told you he was a douchebag.
After several nights of arguments, internet booty-calls-gone-wrong, hedonistic debauchery and struggles with their female house mates, Robbie realizes that while he has found his inspiration, still, his biggest aspiration is to outgrow his pals and get a deeper, more meaningful life.
Will Robbie ever grow up? Will he use his inspiration and write his novel? Well, we can’t tell you that, you have to watch for some reason besides the sound philosophical moments and sophisticated humor. Well, those last two things are neither sound nor sophisticated, but you get the idea.
Welcome to, THE MALADJUSTED.
